Main Duties:
?Quantity survey drawings/technical documents from Clients, LDI and Technical;
?Prepare project cost estimate from concept design to detail design as requested from project or for Company bidding and proposal purpose. Focus on CSA at least and optional to take other discipline estimate;
?Prepare estimate for Request for Quotation and Change Instructions per the requirement of project;
?Assist Head of Cost Estimation to develop special cost study on feasibility study and project planning;
?Integrate and review all disciplines estimate to complete cost estimation. Provides cost clarification post bidding or proposal;
?Collect price information from post contract/ signed change orders/ statements of ongoing and completed project;
?Set up and maintain benchmark prices for CSA in China;
?Keep on tracking market price of material, labor and construction cost and upload them to database;
?Collect, compare, analyze, update and maintain database of historical information for estimation use;
?Conduct Project Evaluation, Performance Indicators:
?Quality of project estimation (Stated accuracy, Comprehensive and thorough, Client's reasonable expectation and clearly cost structure);
?Study new material/ strategies/ skills/ lesson learn to enhance bidding/estimate technique.
Attend to other relevant project cooperate matters as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Science, Civil, Engineering or Quantity Survey.
Least 3 years of relevant cost estimator experience
?Working experience in cost estimation or engineering/construction;
?Experience in field of Quantity surveyors, Construction project budgeting, Cost control and Estimating (prefer the candidate from Construction field)
?Prior experience with project management tools, estimating tools or project accounting (Such as CostX, Grandsoft廣聯(lián)達, Luban魯班, Budget Star預算之星, etc.)
?High sense of responsibility
?Good teamwork spirit
?Ability to work independently
?Sense of confidentiality
?Analytical
?Time management
?Knowledge of cost estimation discipline; Chinese Quota Book, Chinese Code on design or construction;
?Microsoft Office: Good PC Skills, such as MS Software, Notes and so on especial on Excel and Access;
?Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin
